12 month contract - Market Data Support (through an external agency payroll provider)

General description

This 12-month contract with an external agency payroll provider.

Key tasks and responsibilities

• Maintenance of the Markets Technology Market Data Platform, including feeds, distribution infrastructure, entitlement system and Market Data API support
• Drive automation by proposing and developing support solutions (through scripting)
• Onboarding of the application on common platforms (observability testing framework, CI/CD platform, etc.)
• Participation in the documentation work
• Promoting the engineering culture within the team

Business Management

• Work to fulfill the ambitions of the team as defined by the Head of CoE Software Solutions
• Actively participate and support the team leader in the regular review and improvement of team practices to optimize efficiency and productivity
• Continuous drive and improvement of systems

Stakeholder management

• Effective and progressive management of all stakeholders and users of applications supported by the team
• Requirements gathering and discussion of requirements and solutions with business owners and stakeholders
• Regular updates for key stakeholders through the various channels used by the team
• Contribution to strengthening team spirit and promoting a collaborative working environment across locations

Change management

• Active participation and support of the Program Increment (PI) planning process within Markets
• Support with change management and release rollout planning
• Promotion of self-sustaining and incremental improvements via the system

Professional and technical

• 2-3 years of relevant work experience in a finance and/or technology background
• Possession of knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Unix operating system administration
  • Scripting skills (bash, Python etc.)
