Market Data Support

Julius Baer is seeking a Market Data Support for one year to support the market data platform and drive automation efforts. The position holder will be part of a global team in Singapore and Zurich.

Tasks

  • Maintain Markets Technology Market Data Platform, including feeds, distribution infrastructure, authorization system, and Market Data API support
  • Drive automation efforts by proposing and developing scripts
  • Drive the onboarding of applications onto shared platforms (observability testing framework, CI/CD platform)
  • Participation in the documentation effort
  • Promoting engineering culture within the team

Business Management

  • Work to fulfill the team's ambitions, as defined by the Head of CoE Software Solutions.
  • Actively participate and support the team leader in regularly reviewing and improving team practices to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Continuous improvement of systems

Stakeholder management

  • Effective and progressive management of all stakeholders and users of applications supported by the team
  • Discuss and debate requirements and solutions with business owners and stakeholders
  • Provide regular updates to key stakeholders through various channels
  • Contribution to strengthening team spirit and promoting a cooperative working environment across locations

Change management

  • Active participation and support of the Program Increment (PI) planning process within Markets
  • Support for change management and release rollout planning
  • Provision of dedicated post-implementation support locally in Asia

Professional and technical

  • 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in finance and/or technology
  • Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Linear operating system administration
    • Scripting skills (bash, Python, etc.)
