We are looking for a Market Lead for our international team focused on the U.S. market. As a Market Lead, you will take on a leadership role within your team and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. You will oversee your team’s growth, visibility, and performance, set ambitious goals, and implement a client-focused operational rhythm.

Tasks

As Market Lead for the U.S. team, you will be responsible for market performance and delivering strong results for clients and the company through clear decision-making. You will lead your team to high performance by coaching and developing your direct reports, ultimately resulting in an exceptional experience for our clients. You will also develop and implement a market strategy, including establishing an effective operational rhythm across the entire team that covers all areas of the Balanced Scorecard. In addition, you will:
  • Implement agreed-upon activities and goals as a team and create an exceptional customer experience through feedback, research, and insights
  • Build and develop new relationships to help the team achieve its goals and serve as an ambassador for the market, both internally and externally
  • identify, manage, and monitor the risks in your business area; ensure that mechanisms are in place to identify, report, manage, and mitigate risks within a defined risk profile

Requirements

We are looking for someone with extensive knowledge and understanding of the market, including its customers, products, and services. It is also crucial that you have the ability to lead and motivate high-performing teams, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. We will also expect you to:
  • Have a strong track record and performance at an investment or banking advisory firm regulated by the FCA, and within a training and competency framework
  • Possess proven leadership skills and the ability to exert influence
  • Have experience in supporting, coaching, and developing colleagues and employees
