Marketing Associate, EMEA
The Marketing Associate (EMEA) supports the implementation of Man Group's regional marketing strategy in the UK and other EMEA regions by developing and executing marketing campaigns and promoting the company's positioning and reputation. The focus is on collaborating with colleagues from various departments to achieve marketing objectives.
Job description: Marketing Associate, EMEA
Tasks
- Lead the execution of marketing plans to both internal and external audiences to ensure effective promotion and adaptation of our capabilities and products in the UK market, specifically, with wealth managers, RIAs, pension schemes, institutional investors, and family offices.
- Support marketing activities across other EMEA regions where needed, especially DACH.
- Leverage internal and external sources to gather product, channel, and competitor insights with the goal of providing recommendations to drive distribution strategies and market share.
- Develop and maintain broad knowledge of competitive offerings, market trends, and industry developments specific to the business area.
- Conceptualize and communicate effectively in proactively recommending and implementing marketing solutions.
- Manage budget and internal resources effectively with a focus on activities that will have the greatest impact.
- Support a small team in budgeting and forecasting, and horizon scanning.
- Ensure proactive PR and communications to ensure channel alignment and implementation of messages in a timely and effective manner.
Requirements
Technical skills
- At least 3-5 years' experience in institutional and/or intermediary marketing within the investment management industry, a portion of which includes direct management, development, and execution of management solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven presentation skills in English and preferably one other EU language, e.g., German.
- Proven success executing channel marketing initiatives that increase brand awareness and sales.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent project management/organizational skills, including the ability to multitask, be consistently responsive, and proactively manage competing priorities.
- Proven ability to interact effectively and professionally with creative teams, senior executives, internal business partners, external clients, and external vendors.
- Proactive and results driven; ability to consistently seek out ways to improve, gain, and elevate effective marketing initiatives.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- Experience of working as part of a global team where team members are based in multiple global offices and with a global perspective.
- Fluency in German and/or any other European languages would be a strong advantage.
