Master Data - Solution Architect

As a Master Data - Solution Architect at Northern Trust, you will design a holistic Customer Data Platform and Client360. Your main responsibilities will include leading the onboarding/enrollments data workstream, developing data architectures and collaborating with various teams.

Tasks

  • Focus on the creation of a holistic customer data platform and Client360
  • Management of the onboarding/enrollments data workstream
  • Responsibility for the development of application and data architecture for the creation of a central client profile and data for wealth management and legal agreements
  • Understanding how this data is used in wealth management and all consuming data systems
  • Understanding of source system rules and influence on required system integrations
  • Creation of an end-to-end overview of the data flow diagram and development of logical data models in physical data repositories
  • Collaboration with MDM core, ETL, service and support teams for various design, analysis and production INCs
  • Suggestions for automating manual processes for data remediation and commitment to implementing automation
  • Excellent written and verbal business communication to explain system incidents or development work
  • Implementation of functions with Agile methodology

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in MDM with excellent understanding of PME (Probabilistic Matching Engine) etc.
  • Experience or knowledge of Azure data services, including Azure Data Lake Gen2, Azure Synapse, Azure Event Hub and Analytics and Data Bricks to support various ongoing data solutions
  • Programming languages: Java/Python
  • Strong data analysis skills to understand and visualize the lineage of multiple legacy source systems
  • Critical thinking and investigative approach to solve multiple data issues in many source systems connected to MDM
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing multiple teams
  • Experience in the banking industry, especially in the areas of asset servicing, wealth and asset management
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and experience in information systems architecture methods, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
