Media Relations Manager, Group External Communications
UBS is seeking a Media Relations Manager in Zurich to support external communications in the development of media strategies and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). The position requires at least five years of experience in media relations, fluency in German, and a strong interest in artificial intelligence.
Tasks
- Support in planning media activities and providing media relations support across key briefings
- Assistance with the development and implementation of media relations strategies and plans
- Preparation of materials such as media statements, Q&As, briefing documents, and talking points for senior and C-level executives for national audiences
- Support Group Corporate Communications' efforts to develop and implement an effective Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategy
- Impact as a Focus Area for the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Team in Support of Group Corporate Communications
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in media relations
- Familiarity with the Swiss and international media landscape
- Proficiency in German and English at a professional level
- Knowledge of and interest in artificial intelligence (AI)
- A Structured and Analytical Approach
- Strong dedication and high reliability
- Knowledge of regulatory issues and legal matters
