Job Summary
As a Vice President in the EMEA Corporate Sales team, you will play a critical role in delivering treasury and cash management solutions to our global mid-corporate clients.Tasks
- Develop and manage a portfolio of mid-corporate clients, focusing on companies with revenues of USD 500 million and above. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
- Revenue growth through successful acquisition and development of new payment transactions, while maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships.
- Creating strategic dialogues around key client-centric topics, incorporating best practices, industry benchmarking, opportunity quantification and solution positioning.
- Monitoring the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to contract closure, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Work with bankers and clients at a senior and strategic level to proactively deliver integrated payment solutions within a consultative and client-centric framework.
- Leading business process reviews linked to key customer sales opportunities and engaging industry specialists for complex business process reviews.
- Develop new solution ideas while working with internal product stakeholders to represent the customer perspective in the development and enhancement of complex products and solutions.
- Managing the non-credit risk for the client portfolio and monitoring and improving the profitability of all assigned relationships.
- Acquisition, presentation and delivery of payment solutions for public and private companies. Overseeing the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to contract closure, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, operations and legal, to negotiate deals and effectively manage the sales pipeline.
- Maintain open, clear and fluid communication with stakeholders, i.e. bankers, product partners, implementation and customer service teams locally and abroad.
Requirements
Required qualifications, skills and competencies
- Successful experience in payments sales, with experience in managing complex customer transactions.
- Successful sales and relationship management experience with large/complex organizations.
- Experience in delivering client-centered solutions based on their needs, with a successful track record of building and maintaining relationships with senior leaders in EMEA/APAC/LATAM.
- Knowledge, skills and experience to build a network and work with companies.
- Successful ability to influence senior decision makers, internal stakeholders and peer groups.
- Successful partnership skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong presentation, negotiation and marketing skills required.
- Very organized, detail-oriented and proactive.
- Ability to work independently, multi-task and manage processes efficiently.
- Excellent ethics, integrity and judgment.
- Fluent in German and English.
Preferred qualifications, skills and competencies
- Experience with headquarters (HQ) customers is preferred, but experience with HQ subsidiaries will also be considered.
- Bachelor's degree required (preferably in business administration, finance or economics); Master's degree preferred. Or able to demonstrate a substantial level of successful performance in a similar role.
- Some business trips are taken into account.
