The Middle Office Analyst supports the trading department in various activities such as trade support and documentation, particularly in the area of complex financial products. The main tasks include the booking and exception management of trading transactions as well as the life cycle management of derivatives.

About the role
The Middle Office Analyst position supports the trading area (e.g. trading support, documentation). Middle Office employees support complex product areas (e.g. fixed-income securities, equity options) and have a high level of product knowledge.
Tasks
- Booking and exception management for micro and macro hedges across all instrument types and asset classes (equities, bonds and derivatives (equities, interest rates, foreign exchange))
- Lifecycle management of all types of OTC and exchange-traded derivatives
- Processing of trading transactions from various platforms
- Troubleshooting of various trading, treasury, sales, risk and reconciliation issues
- Looking for automation potential in daily tasks, coordinating with the relevant partner teams and taking the initiative to initiate and support the implementation process
- Taking responsibility for training junior team members in various tasks in which he/she is an expert
Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in finance or economics
- 2-4 years of experience in middle office or related functions
- Fluency in English
- MS Office
- SQL
- Customer orientation
- Sense of responsibility and integrity
