Middle Office and Accounting Analyst

The Middle Office and Accounting Analyst supports the risk and financial management team in handling investment processes, performing reconciliations, and preparing reports. This full-time remote position at Man Group is intended for entry-level candidates with 0–1 years of experience and offers a salary between $55,000 and $68,000.

Tasks

  • Support in designing and documenting operational procedures for our funds.
  • Establish and manage all asset management and settlement processes (including reconciliations, profit and loss statements, cash, etc.) to ensure that operations are closely and effectively managed.
  • Reconciliations: Adjustments and Forecast Amounts.
  • Preparing for quality checks as part of a calibration.
  • Reconciliation of the records and communication of the reconciliation, as well as any adjustments, to the managers.
  • Reconcile records and communicate the results of the reconciliation, as well as the value of the investment, to supervisors. Review policies and procedures and participate in discussions regarding timely execution.
  • Collaborate with other members to develop and analyze client financing, net asset value, and fund assets.
  • Responsibility for documenting and managing the day-to-day investment and cash flow processes for a specific portfolio.
  • Responsibility for preparing accurate reports for management and the client. The operations manager should be supported.
  • Responsibility for managing and monitoring customer relationships as well as investment and process activities.
  • Developing and managing relationships and customer resources, as well as helping to foster a positive attitude among the customer service team.
  • Preparation and management of investment activities and reports for the organization.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 0–1 year of experience performing at least two of the following tasks:
    • Basic understanding of accounting principles and regulations such as GAAP (GAAP or 2025), 18+ years of experience, or equivalent.
    • A good understanding of accounting practices.
    • A solid understanding of financial reporting standards and principles.
    • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite or comparable software.
    • Proven experience with Excel and Word.
    • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
    • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • A passion for learning new things and developing new skills.

We offer

  • Expected salary range: $55,000–$68,000.
  • Compensation packages include base salaries and a competitive bonus program.
  • The final offer will be determined in accordance with our salary ranges, based on the candidate's experience, the nature of the role, the location, and the candidate's experience and qualifications.
