MIDDLE OFFICE DEPUTY TEAM LEAD

MIDDLE OFFICE DEPUTY TEAM LEAD in Singapore, Operations, Full-time

Tasks

  • Key role in overseeing and supporting the trading team (based on the trading floor)
  • Setup and maintenance of structured products (across all asset classes) in the risk management system (Sophis)
  • Setting up and booking related hedging products
  • Conducting P&L sensitivity analyses for new transactions/trading
  • Communicating with Trading, Quant, and Risk to model new or complex payout structures
  • Daily communication with Risk and Finance to ensure that risks and P&L are accurately recorded
  • Management of the lifecycle of Leonteq-issued products (such as autocall scenarios, coupon payments, stop-loss events, etc.)
  • Driving automation processes and participating in projects
  • Communicating with various custodian banks and clearing agents to resolve settlement issues and/or inquiries

Requirements

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in finance or economics
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Knowledge of derivatives and/or structured products is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Excel/VBA is a plus
  • Good verbal and written English skills
  • Strong interest in improving existing processes and procedures
  • More than 5 years of relevant experience
