Tasks

• Responsibility for engineering, operation and further development of the Kafka platform.
• Supporting development teams with application integration.
• Collaboration in the development of further middleware transport paths such as MQs, message queues and file.
• Substitution in the IBM MQ environment and technical support.
• Collaboration with experts from networks, storage, operating systems and databases as well as automation of routine processes.

Requirements

• Completed IT training or comparable professional experience.
• At least 2 years of Kafka experience, ideally with Red Hat Streams on OpenShift.
• Knowledge of Java and IBM MQ is an advantage.
• Team-oriented way of working and understanding of complex IT systems.
• Willingness to work on-call and very good knowledge of German.
