Middleware Engineer with focus on Kafka (m/f/d) 80 -100%

Tasks

• Engineering and automation of services related to the Kafka platform.
• Operation of the Kafka platform.
• Supporting developers and engineering teams with the integration of their applications.
• Supporting colleagues in engineering the other middleware transports (call, message and file).
• Close cooperation with colleagues from other disciplines (network, storage, OS, databases).
• Automation of routine tasks.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a computer scientist (m/f/d) or comparable professional experience
• At least 2 years of experience with Kafka, ideally Red Hat Streams for Apache Kafka on OpenShift
• Good knowledge of Kubernetes and Java or Python
• Enjoy cross-team collaboration
• Willingness to take on pick-up tasks
• Very good written and spoken German
• Independent and proactive promotion of topics
