Reception and Security Staff (Employee Area)
The position as Reception and Security Staff (Employee Area) in Basel involves acting as the central point of contact between employees, visitors, and suppliers, as well as responsibility for security monitoring in the control center. The position requires a completed vocational apprenticeship, experience in reception and security, and knowledge of MS Office applications and access control systems.
Your role
As a reception and security employee (employee area), you are the central point of contact between employees, visitors, suppliers, and tradespeople, and are responsible for security monitoring in the control center. You ensure a smooth, safe, and friendly reception.Your tasks
- Supporting daily operations with a focus on safety, organization, and service
- Contact person for internal and external stakeholders
- Support for access and video systems as well as key management
- Monitoring, control, and supervision of building management systems
- Performing administrative security and facility tasks
Your profile
- Completed vocational training in a technical or commercial field
- Several years of experience in reception, security, and/or facility management, ideally in the employee area
- Experience with access control systems, key management, and building management systems is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of security is a prerequisite.
- Knowledge of MS Office applications
- Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Willingness to take responsibility and work independently
- Fluency in German and English, good knowledge of French is an advantage
