MS AD / Entra ID Engineer - Microsoft Authenticator (MFA)
Nomura is seeking a 6-month contractor in London for the position of MS AD / Entra ID Engineer, with a focus on Microsoft Authenticator (MFA) and Zero Trust Security. The role requires expertise in Active Directory, Entra ID, and cloud identity services to continuously improve identity and access management.

Technical Expertise
- Experience with enterprise deployment of Microsoft Authenticator
- Knowledge of zero-trust security principles
- Familiarity with identity-based security tools and solutions, including MFA
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and related cloud services
- In-depth understanding of the Active Directory and Entra ID security frameworks
- Expert knowledge of Active Directory technologies, including:
- Tiered Administration Models
- Design and Implementation of Distributed Idle MFA
- Migrations from Other MFA Platforms
- Multi-factor Authentication
- Cloud Identity Services
- IaaS
- Cloud computing, including:
- Microsoft Azure
- Public Cloud / Private Cloud
- Container
- Container Services (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, and EKS)
- Azure/ADF/MDM/DataBricks Integration
- API/EIM: JSON, REST, SOAP
Desirable qualifications
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong adherence to change control procedures and operational discipline
- Expert Knowledge of Windows Server Technologies
- Experience in designing and deploying PowerShell security controls
- Experience with the Ping AM / Ping DS Identity product suite
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (PRA, FCA) related to operations
