Multi-Asset Execution Specialist - Night Desk

Job description

• The Multi-Asset Execution Specialist - Night Desk position is a member of the Private Bank - Liquid & Structured Investments team, responsible for providing market analysis as needed.
• The team at Julius Baer is able to help clients achieve their financial goals and aspirations by managing their portfolio structure in a way that best aligns with their personal and professional goals.
• The person will work outside of regular office hours (Night Desk) during UK/US market trading sessions and on the Asia Desk during the night shift, performing similar duties.
• The Multi-Asset Execution Specialist - Night Desk reports to the Head of Execution - Liquid & Products at OP.

Tasks

• Portfolio Management
  • Contribute to an understanding of the team's report on the background of a client's professional work.
  • Establish nighttime operations involving global and regional customer relationships through the companies in the Desk.
• Client Management (Internal & External)
  • Ensure the timely and accurate ordering, execution, and booking of stocks, fixed-income products, other product types, and product structures.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce and leverage the company's products to increase its share of the wallet.
  • Maintain close working relationships with key counterparties.
  • Regular communication with fund managers regarding the settlement of client accounts, securities, and cash.
  • Respond fully to capital restructuring when it is relevant.
• Business Management
  • Support the team's financial, strategic, and operational goals and drive business performance and results.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and productivity (processes, systems, and network).
