Murex Business Analyst / Developer (Full-Time) (f/m/d)

Tasks

• Participation in the analysis and implementation of business logic
• Discussing requirements and solutions with business owners and stakeholders
• Coordination and execution of functional testing for new features and bug fixes
• Supporting end users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Continuous improvement and optimization of the platform
• Support and troubleshooting for issues reported by business users, including market data, reference and static data, trading cycle events, P&L, and risks
• Troubleshooting End-of-Day Processes and Batch Queries
• Report maintenance (typically driven by business needs, such as changes to query conditions)
• Support for simulation and LiveBook tools (e.g., P&L and Greeks deviations, risk matrix setup, PLVAR, etc.)
• Availability for production provisioning on one weekend per month

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, financial markets, banking, or a related field
• Financial Engineering or Programming (preferred)
• Over 10 years of experience in the financial industry, including Murex
• A deep understanding of retail applications from start to finish
• Excellent understanding of spot foreign exchange, foreign exchange options, precious metals, and bonds
• Extensive technical and business experience with Murex (MX.3.1), including the FICC modules
• In-depth understanding of lifecycle events, simulation/Livebook, P&L, and risks
• Extensive experience with configuring pre-trade rules
• Knowledge of Murex Datamart reporting
• Proficiency in Linux operating systems and database/SQL queries (Oracle, Sybase)
