Murex Business Analyst / Developer (Full-Time) (f/m/d)
The Julius Baer Group is seeking an experienced Murex Business Analyst/Developer for a 12-month project with the possibility of extension. The candidate should have over 10 years of experience in the financial industry working with Murex and possess in-depth knowledge of trading applications and financial products.
Tasks
- Participation in the analysis and implementation of business logic
- Discussing requirements and solutions with business owners and stakeholders
- Coordination and execution of functional testing for new features and bug fixes
- Supporting end users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Continuous improvement and optimization of the platform
- Support and troubleshooting for issues reported by business users, including market data, reference statistics setup, trading lifecycle events, Simulation/Livebook, P&L, and risks
- Troubleshooting End-of-Day Processes and Batch Queries
- Report maintenance (typically driven by business needs, such as changes to query conditions)
- Support for simulation and LiveBook tools (e.g., P&L and Greeks deviations, risk matrix setup, PLVAR, etc.)
- Availability for production provisioning on one weekend per month
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, financial markets, banking, or a related field
- Financial Engineering or Programming (preferred)
- Over 10 years of experience in the financial industry, including Murex
- A deep understanding of trading applications from start to finish
- Excellent understanding of spot foreign exchange, foreign exchange options, precious metals, and bonds
- Extensive technical and business experience with Murex (MX.3.1), including the FICC modules
- In-depth understanding of lifecycle events, simulation/Livebook, P&L, and risks
- Extensive experience in designing and configuring pre-trade rules
- Knowledge of Murex Datamart reporting
