Murex Business Analyst / Developer

Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Murex Business Analyst/Developer to participate in various strategic projects and day-to-day initiatives. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the business and technical environment.

Tasks

• Participation in the analysis and implementation of business logic
• Discussing requirements and solutions with business owners and stakeholders
• Coordination and execution of functional testing for new features and bug fixes
• Supporting end users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Continuous improvement of the platform

Your profile

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in finance or financial markets, banking, or a related field
• Financial Engineering or Programming (preferred)
• Over 10 years of experience in the financial industry, including Murex
• A deep understanding of trading applications from start to finish
• Excellent understanding of spot FX, FX options, precious metals, and bonds
• Extensive technical and business experience with Murex (MX.3.1), including the FICC modules
• In-depth understanding of lifecycle events, simulation/Livebook, P&L, and risks
• Extensive experience in designing and configuring pre-trade rules
• Knowledge of Murex Datamart reporting
• Proficiency in Linux operating systems and database/SQL queries (Oracle, Sybase)
• Ability to work independently as part of a global team, take initiative, and maintain a positive attitude
• Strong analytical skills for specifying and documenting requirements
• Excellent written and spoken English
