.NET Developer / Deputy Application Manager - Viewpoint App (Full-Time) (f/m/d)

The Julius Baer Group is seeking a .NET developer to serve as Application Responsible Deputy for the Viewpoint app, who will be responsible for taking the solution to the next level and working closely with the Application Responsible and the Product Owner. The ideal candidate should have experience in .NET software development and in the banking or financial sector, particularly in wealth management.

Tasks

  • Take end-to-end ownership and responsibility to take our Viewpoint solution to the next level and work closely with the Application Responsible (AR) and the Product Owner (PO)
  • Alignment with the vendor’s strategic roadmap and plan; coordination and implementation of product improvements, fixes, or upgrades

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, with experience in the banking/financial sector, particularly in wealth management
  • Strong .NET software development skills (Visual Studio, .NET/C#, MS SQL, Visual Basic)
  • Thorough knowledge of application architecture (solution design, context diagram)
  • Ability to analyze complex application-related problems and find and implement solutions with minimal guidance from supervisors
  • An "end-to-end" mindset, connecting the dots, understanding the "user journey," and IT/business processes within the scope of technical expertise
  • Commitment and passion for delivering high-quality solutions at a reasonable cost
  • A thorough understanding of agile methods and DevOps; agile certifications are a plus
  • Self-motivated and hands-on, with strong organizational and communication skills; well-organized and reliable
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
