.NET Developer / Deputy Application Manager - Viewpoint App (Full-Time) (f/m/d)
The Julius Baer Group is seeking a .NET developer to serve as Application Responsible Deputy for the Viewpoint app, with the goal of taking the solution to the next level and working closely with the Application Responsible and the Product Owner. The ideal candidate should have experience in software development using .NET, as well as knowledge of application architecture and agile methodologies.
Tasks
- Take on overall responsibility and end-to-end ownership to take our Viewpoint solution to the next level and work closely with the Application Responsible (AR) and the Product Owner (PO)
- Alignment with the vendor’s strategic roadmap and plan; coordination and implementation of product improvements, fixes, or upgrades
Requirements
- Education: B.S./M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with experience in the banking/financial sector, particularly in wealth management
- Extensive knowledge of .NET software development (Visual Studio, .NET/C#, MS SQL, Visual Basic)
- Basic knowledge of application architecture (solution design, context diagram)
- Ability to analyze complex application-related problems and identify and implement solutions with minimal guidance from supervisors
- Ability to think end-to-end, connect the dots, and understand the "user journey" as well as IT and business processes within the scope of technical expertise
- Commitment and passion for delivering high-quality solutions at a reasonable cost
- Basic knowledge of agile methods and DevOps; agile certifications are a plus
- Self-motivated and hands-on, with strong organizational and communication skills; well-organized and reliable
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
