.NET Developer / Deputy Application Manager - Viewpoint App
The Julius Baer Group is seeking a .NET developer to serve as Application Responsible Deputy for the Viewpoint app in Zurich. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking the application to the next level and will work closely with the Application Responsible and the Product Owner.
Tasks
- Align with the vendors' strategy roadmap and plan; coordinate and implement product improvements, fixes, or upgrades
- Continuous improvement of service availability, performance, capacity, and knowledge management within the team
- Responding to risk-related matters such as audits, access controls, and annual risk assessments – managing risk mitigation measures and the technical debt pipeline
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, with experience in the banking/financial sector, particularly in wealth management
- Strong .NET software development skills (Visual Studio, .NET/C#, MS SQL, Visual Basic)
- Basic knowledge of application architecture (solution design, context diagram)
- Ability to analyze complex application-related problems and identify and implement solutions with minimal guidance from supervisors
- End-to-end thinking, connecting the dots, understanding the "user journey" and IT/business processes within the scope of technical expertise
- **Key Requirement**: Familiarity with the Viewpoint application (Quantios vPoint – Comprehensive Entity Management Software)
