Network and Firewall Engineer II - Associate

As an Infrastructure Engineer on the Infrastructure Platform International Services team, you’ll play a key role in delivering infrastructure and performance excellence. Tasks

  • Developing and implementing network infrastructure solutions
  • Managing and configuring firewall platforms such as Fortinet and Check Point
  • Operating and supporting Cisco (Nexus, ASR) and Arista network devices
  • Managing and Optimizing Load Balancers (F5)
  • Developing and maintaining scripts for device deployment and automating daily tasks
  • Compliance with engineering standards and certified product artifacts
  • Creating and updating implementation and operational documentation
  • Troubleshooting Using Monitoring and Diagnostic Tools
  • Participation in on-call rotations and serving as a point of escalation for Network Operations and Service Delivery teams
  • Coordinate and collaborate with senior engineers and stakeholders across teams
  • Driving cross-functional initiatives and fostering a collaborative environment

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in firewall and network security design, engineering, and implementation in a large enterprise environment
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, and switching
  • Proficiency in software development using Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform, or JSON
  • Understanding microservices and APIs
  • Experience with network security technologies such as proxies
  • CCNA or CCNP certification is a plus
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Organized and able to follow procedures to minimize risks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • A strong work ethic and a results-oriented mindset
  • Ability to collaborate across different roles and teams
  • Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills in a large corporate environment
  • English language skills required

Preferential qualifications

  • Experience in highly regulated environments
  • Experience with the French language is a plus
