Network & Proxy Support Team Lead

Job Description
The role of Network & Proxy Support Team Lead involves leading a team of three network engineers and ensuring the security, resilience, and availability of EFG’s business systems.Tasks
The main tasks include:- Leadership, coaching, and development of the network team
- Combining team leadership with technical work on complex projects and incidents
- Monitoring of daily operations and proxy operations, including incident, problem, and change management
- Planning and coordination of network and proxy upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle activities
- Managing escalations and ensuring secure communication with stakeholders
- Management and monitoring of third-party providers and contracts, including service quality, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with SLAs
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies as well as regulatory, security-related, and audit requirements
Proxy | Secure Web Gateway (Zscaler)
The tasks include:- Collaborating with security teams to define, implement, and maintain security policies
- Configuration, operation, and maintenance of Zscaler solutions (ZIA/ZPA) and related components
- Managing Corporate Devices with Zscaler Client Connector (ZCC)
- Resolving Zscaler-related issues by analyzing logs and implementing corrective actions
- Proactive recommendations and implementation of improvements to network and proxy performance, capacity, scalability, and security posture
Network Engineering & Operations
The tasks include:- Provision of second- and third-level technical support for networks and related services
- Configuration, installation, and maintenance of network devices and services
- Support and maintenance of network connections for financial market data feeds and other latency-sensitive services
- Implementation and maintenance of a continuous improvement process through the definition, documentation, and enforcement of network and proxy standards, procedures, and best practices
- Liaise with external suppliers and partners regarding the design, implementation, and support of network solutions
- Participation in a 24/7 on-call/standby rotation (pager) to support critical infrastructure
Requirements
The requirements include:- 6–10 years of experience in networking in complex, international environments
- Strong knowledge of enterprise network architecture and network security
- Professional experience with Cisco technologies and Cisco ACI; experience in the financial services industry is a plus
Skills and Experience
The required skills include:- Expert in LAN/WAN implementation and troubleshooting
- Extensive experience with firewalls (Fortinet and/or Check Point), VPN, IPSec, and GRE tunnels
- Proven expertise with Zscaler ZIA/ZPA and ZCC on enterprise devices
