Network & Proxy Support Team Lead

Job Description

The role of Network & Proxy Support Team Lead involves leading a team of three network engineers and ensuring the security, resilience, and availability of EFG’s business systems.

Tasks

The main tasks include:
  • Leadership, coaching, and development of the network team
  • Combining team leadership with hands-on technical work on complex incidents and projects
  • Monitoring of daily network and proxy operations, including incident, problem, and change management
  • Planning and coordination of network and proxy upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle activities
  • Managing escalations and ensuring that major incidents are resolved promptly
  • Management and review of third-party vendors and contracts; ensuring service quality, cost efficiency, and compliance with SLAs

Proxy | Secure Web Gateway (Zscaler)

The tasks include:
  • Collaborating with security teams to define, implement, and maintain security policies
  • Configuration, operation, and maintenance of Zscaler solutions (ZIA/ZPA) and related components
  • Managing Corporate Devices with Zscaler Client Connector (ZCC)
  • Troubleshooting and Resolving Zscaler-Related Issues
  • Analysis of network packet captures (PCAPs), filter logs, and HTTP/HTTPS headers

Network Engineering & Operations

The tasks include:
  • Provision of second- and third-level technical support for networks and related services
  • Configuration, installation, and maintenance of network devices and services
  • Support and maintenance of network connections for financial market data feeds and other latency-sensitive services
  • Implementation and maintenance of a continuous improvement process
  • Liaison with external suppliers and partners

Requirements

The requirements include:
  • 6–10 years of experience in networking in complex, international environments
  • Extensive knowledge of enterprise network architecture and network security
  • Professional experience with Cisco technologies and Cisco ACI
  • Expert knowledge in LAN/WAN implementation and troubleshooting
  • Extensive knowledge of firewalls (Fortinet and/or Check Point), VPN, IPSec, and GRE tunnels
