Network Security Engineer

The role

Tasks

We are looking for a Network Security Engineer for the following tasks, among others:

• Planning, implementation and management of network security solutions
• Collaboration in exciting projects in the network area
• Takeover of system ownership for various network components: Firewalls (core, perimeter, RAS firewalls), Network Access Control (NAC), web proxy, switches.
• Responsibility for configuration and strategic changes to the setup. This includes the definition and application, planning and monitoring the implementation, as well as verifying the function of the change.
• Coordination with managed service providers

Requirements

What we wish for

• Several years of experience in IT
• University degree in computer science (H
• Further training / certification in IT
• Good analytical and conceptual skills
• Security awareness & experience in IT
• Strong communication skills
• Languages: Good German (written
