New Business Onboarding Specialist

Tasks

  • New Business & Infrastructure Setup:
    • Supporting new business initiatives and ensuring that the operational infrastructure is ready to take on new business
    • Establishing and ensuring the completion of technical and operational setups for new funds and managed accounts
    • Assistance with the introduction of new products and services
    • Collaborating with business and customers to meet specific requirements
    • Engagement with internal partners to ensure documentation requirements, account setup, and trading/disclosure communications
    • Correspondence with external providers to implement systems, email, and other communication channels
    • Ensuring that all requirements are carried out in accordance with internal and external controls and audit requirements
  • Data Management & Quality:
    • Review and resolution of trade orders and issues in a controlled environment
    • Ensuring data quality and currency
    • Resolution of trading issues caused by static data discrepancies
    • Maintenance of internal trading entries and country-specific override rules
  • Market Data & Configuration:
    • Maintenance of market-driven data points
    • Updating and managing market data feeds
    • Configuration of processing data rules
    • Management of market data providers

Requirements

Technical skills

  • Experience in the operations department of an investment management company, investment bank, or hedge fund
  • Previous experience in customer service, middle office, or operations in the financial services sector
  • Cultural alignment with Man Group values and industry best practices
  • Self-motivated and responsive in a constantly changing environment
  • Ability to escalate potential risks or delays to management
  • Familiarity with IT systems and infrastructure (both customer-facing and internal)
