Nordic Rates Sales - Associate

Tasks

• Supporting the team in the day-to-day operations of the trading department
• Participation in tasks such as trade execution and risk management (exposure management)
• Review of Product Applications
• Developing Customer Relationships
• Providing High-Quality Product Releases
• Account Analysis and Client Mapping
• Designing customized solutions to address client needs, primarily based on market interest rates, and presenting them in client presentations

Requirements

• No specific degree is required, but a quantitative degree in engineering, mathematics, economics, etc., may be an advantage
• 0–1 year of experience in a similar position
• Extensive knowledge and experience in one or more areas of fixed-income derivatives in interest rates and FX: currencies, bonds, interest rate options, volatility, credit, and funds
• Experience working on a trading floor (or relevant internships) at a major financial institution
• Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills, solid knowledge of SQL (including object-oriented techniques), and C#
• Programming experience in Python, Java, or JavaScript is preferred
• Knowledge of C++, Java, and C++ is also desirable
• Experience with front-office or back-office software, or using Fidelity or similar tools, would be an asset
• Strong communication and facilitation skills in a commercial setting
• High degree of independence; experience with or interest in corporate banking or treasury markets is a plus
• Fluency in English (knowledge of other languages would be ideal)
• Adaptability and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across organizational levels and geographic locations
• A flexible work style in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to handle complex tasks and manage multiple sources of pressure
• Strong proficiency in Excel (including VBA) and C#

We offer

• Base salary range upon hire: €30,000 – €45,000
