Tasks

The role of Quantitative Rotational Analyst encompasses a wide range of research, investment, and technology tasks. These include validating inputs for models and generating quantitative signals used to inform trading decisions and cross-asset strategy recommendations. The analyst will analyze the output of our proprietary construction process to ensure the integrity of our investment process and strategy. In addition, the analyst will support research and portfolio management teams in generating ideas and developing trading strategies. As a Quantitative Rotational Analyst in Technology, the analyst will work directly with the research and portfolio management teams on new and existing projects involving quantitative research and strategy. This includes responsibility for the success of our in-house quant platform and the development of tools, frameworks, and infrastructure that form the foundation of our quantitative research and systematic trading business.

Requirements

The most important requirements for this role are:
  • A strong academic record and a bachelor’s degree in finance, mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics, or engineering
  • Strong programming and statistical analysis skills (e.g., Python, R) and the ability to clearly communicate complex ideas
  • Proven problem-solving ability
  • Self-organization with the ability to effectively manage time across multiple projects and competing business requirements and priorities
  • Focus on delivering value to the business through data-driven efforts to improve processes

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $130,000 USD. The compensation package also includes benefits and a discretionary bonus.
