Job description

Tasks

• Maintaining and further developing the hedonic valuation models for residential property and the real estate indices for assessing the risk of the mortgage portfolio
• Assist in the development of real estate market assessments using data analysis and forecasting models
• Writing your own articles in publications on the Swiss real estate market
• Collaboration with the bank's risk management and sales units

Requirements

• University degree (at least Master's level) in economics, mathematics or comparable subject area
• Applied knowledge of data analysis in e.g. R, Python or SAS
• Quantitative skills and a sound understanding of economic relationships
• Interest in the Swiss real estate market, knowledge advantageous for journalistic activities
• Show initiative and work independently and accurately
• Enjoy working on new topics in a team
• Ability to communicate complex topics simply and convincingly
• Very good knowledge of German
