Your role
As an Offensive Security and Vulnerability Engineer at Bank J. Safra Sarasin, you will be an important part of improving the bank's defense capabilities by thinking like an attacker and providing expertise in simulating attacks, identifying vulnerabilities and leading the remediation process to protect digital assets.Your tasks
- Performing complex penetration tests, red teaming exercises and vulnerability assessments at all levels of our infrastructure (network, application, cloud, end device)
- Oversee the vulnerability management cycle to ensure the timely identification, classification, prioritization and remediation of vulnerabilities in the bank's technology stack
- Provide recommendations on how to improve security controls and mitigate identified risks
- Constantly update your knowledge of new threats, attack vectors and state-of-the-art security testing techniques to maintain the bank's security
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide comprehensive reports to executives on security posture and mitigation efforts
- Ensuring that all security practices and recommendations comply with Swiss banking regulations and international cybersecurity standards
Your profile
- University degree in computer science or completed apprenticeship or similar banking training
- 10 years of professional experience in offensive security and vulnerability management and/or additional training in penetration testing, vulnerability management, APT simulation and security tool development
- Experience with offensive security and development of security tools
- Successful experience in security consulting
- Ability to weigh up problems and set priorities
- Strong work ethic, integrity and high level of accountability and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
- Hands-on mentality and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
