Office Coordinator | Receptionist
The position of Office Coordinator and Receptionist at Man Group in New York involves serving as the first point of contact for the office and assisting the CRES Manager with various tasks, including reception duties, office administration, and health and safety measures. Purpose of the role
The role of the Office Coordinator and Receptionist is to serve as a reliable and welcoming point of contact for the office and to work with a global, multidisciplinary investment team to provide a seamless and positive experience for internal and external clients.Tasks
The main tasks include:- Reception and Office Services: Greeting customers and visitors; coordinating hospitality, catering, and meeting room setups
- Assist the CRES Manager with office administration, including coordinating maintenance and purchasing
- Monitoring compliance with health and safety regulations, including conducting risk assessments and coordinating first aid and fire safety measures
- Assistance with organizing office events and coordinating decorations and themes
- Financial responsibilities: Preparing and approving purchase orders; maintaining database logs and records
- Administrative and communication tasks: Communicating with the CRES team and other departments, providing general administrative support
Requirements
The requirements for this role include:- College degree (preferred)
- Experience working at the front desk or in customer service
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and work under pressure
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience supporting executives (not essential)
- A proactive and customer-focused approach
