Operations Specialist (Full-Time)

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage daily cash and settlement operations, ensuring accurate accounting, liquidity tracking, and reconciliation across various asset classes. In this role, you will perform critical control functions, support global initiatives, identify process improvements, and ensure strict compliance with operational risk and regulatory standards.

Tasks

• Strictly adhere to internal guidelines, policies, and compliance requirements
• Demonstrate a strong awareness of operational risk
• Conduct regular checks and report incidents or system-related issues immediately
• Provide reliable support by responding to ad hoc inquiries and offering prompt, accurate feedback
• Initiate and propose suggestions for improvement to enhance efficiency, quality, and risk mitigation

Requirements

• Preference will be given to candidates who have successfully completed a banking apprenticeship or comparable vocational training
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools, particularly Excel
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
• A high level of risk awareness, particularly with regard to operational risks
• A reliable and responsible professional with a proactive, solution-oriented approach
• Strong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented attitude
• Independent, precise, and methodical in approach, with the ability to work independently
• Open to continuous learning and development; willing to embrace change and improvement
