Operations Specialist (Full-Time)
The Julius Baer Group is seeking an Operations Specialist who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of cash and settlement operations and for ensuring that all transactions are executed accurately and on time. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with experience in the banking industry and a strong understanding of operational risks and regulatory standards.
Tasks
- Identifying and resolving reconciliation errors in positions across multiple asset classes
- Executing cash sweep operations in accordance with predefined mandates and schedules
- Accurate and timely reporting of the daily cash balance
- Active participation in local and global initiatives as a subject matter expert
- Performing control tasks in accordance with the dual-control principle, in line with defined standards
- Strict adherence to internal policies, guidelines, and compliance requirements
- Demonstrating a strong awareness of operational risk
- Conducting regular checks and promptly reporting incidents or system-related issues
- Providing reliable support by responding to ad hoc inquiries and delivering timely, accurate feedback
- Initiating and proposing ideas for improvement to enhance efficiency, quality, and risk mitigation
Requirements
- Preference will be given to candidates who have successfully completed a banking apprenticeship or comparable vocational training
