Operational Excellence Officer for Mortgages, Full-Time (f/m/d)

Tasks

• End-to-End Mortgage Operations & Lifecycle Management:
  • Monitoring the entire administrative process for mortgage applications—from initial posting and amendments through renewal, early repayment, and final settlement.
  • Performing transactional activities with accuracy and on time, including new loans, amendments, refinancings, and system updates.
  • Ensuring consistent data integrity across core banking and real estate systems, serving as a trusted source of truth.
  • Close collaboration with the Front Office, Mortgage Advisory, Credit Risk, Legal, and external partners to ensure seamless customer experiences and operational agility.
• Controls, Compliance, and Process Integrity:
  • Conduct daily operational checks, reconciliations, and exception monitoring to ensure data accuracy and process reliability.
  • Supporting compliance with internal policies and evolving regulatory requirements (including FINMA supervision and SNB initiatives).
  • Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve operational risks and outstanding issues to maintain audit readiness.
  • Contribute to the refinement of SOPs, control frameworks, and risk mitigation measures.
• Strategic Initiatives & Business Transformation:
  • Serving as an operational partner in cross-functional projects focused on automation, digitalization, and improving the customer journey.
  • Identifying inefficiencies and helping to develop scalable solutions that improve both productivity and service quality.
  • Support in designing future processes, technology integrations, and change management roadmaps.
