Operational Resilience and Outsourcing Manager

EFG Bank in Monaco is seeking an Operational Resilience and Outsourcing Manager who will be responsible for overseeing outsourcing activities, managing business risks, and developing a risk and control framework. The ideal candidate has at least five years of professional experience at a financial institution and excellent communication skills in French and English.

Job description

As the Operational Resilience and Outsourcing Manager in Monaco, you will be responsible for overseeing COO activities, including leading projects, ensuring contract award processes, and implementing business risk management (BRM). The Operational Resilience and Outsourcing Manager will report directly to EFG Bank (Monaco). The main responsibilities of the Operational Resilience and Outsourcing Manager within the COO division include:
  • Managing and overseeing internal and external procurement providers and ICT suppliers to ensure full compliance with EEA regulatory requirements, including DORA; serving as the designated procurement manager for all contracts with third-party providers and within the group.
  • Responsibility for the design, implementation, and development of a comprehensive and robust risk and control framework within the Chief Operating Officer (COO) function in Monaco, in accordance with Group standards.
  • Identifying the key risks associated with COO processes and designing the necessary mitigation measures to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Analyzing the causes of operational risk incidents and identifying corrective actions.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of business continuity management (BCM).
  • Leading or participating in strategic and regulatory projects involving EFG Bank (Monaco), serving as the point of contact for group-wide initiatives.

Requirements

The Operational Resilience and Outsourcing Manager should possess the following skills and competencies:
  • At least five years of professional experience, ideally at a financial institution; experience in project management is a strong plus.
  • A strong team player with excellent communication skills in French and English (both spoken and written).
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Motivated, flexible, and well-organized.
