Operational Risk Manager

Your role

As an Operational Risk Manager at Bank J. Safra Sarasin, you are an experienced professional who contributes to the bank’s operational risk framework within the framework of FINMA and supports the Group’s consolidated regulatory obligations.

Your tasks

• Maintenance of the operational risk framework, including the following items:
  • Review and Scrutiny of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA)
  • Collaboration with stakeholders across the three lines of defense
  • Conducting Control Tests
  • Contribution to Relevant Risk Reviews

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance or economics
• 5 years of practical experience in auditing
• Experience with ORA at a Swiss bank or in a similar environment
• Experience with the implementation of regulatory frameworks and operational risks
• Ability to assess the importance of issues and set priorities; excellent organizational skills
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office; knowledge of Avaloq is a plus
• Ability to work with various stakeholders
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently
• Fluency in English, very good French skills, and fluency in German are a plus
