Operational Risk Manager (m/f/d) - Information Security Officer (m/f/d) with ICT risk control function

Tasks

• As a member of the Risk Management Team, you will assume the role of independent ICT risk control function in accordance with IDOR Art. 5.5, as well as the role of local information security officer.
• In this role, you will support senior management in defining and adapting the information security strategy and advise on all matters relating to information security.
• They prepare the annual report on the appropriateness and effectiveness of ICT risk management.
• They coordinate reporting on ICT risks and the status of measures to be implemented by working closely with IT and vendor management and classifying the information provided in the context of risk management.
• The Julius Baer Group will support you in performing your duties as Information Security Officer, with key information security tasks being outsourced. You will coordinate cooperation, monitor the quality of outsourced services, and use the information provided to assess the local threat situation.
• They organize and conduct regular training and awareness-raising activities on information security issues.
• As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will contribute your expertise in the assessment of information security in ICT projects, incidents and the outsourcing of ICT services.

Requirements

• Certification in the field of information security (e.g., as CISSP, CISM, ISACA, or C-ISO) is an advantage.
• You have knowledge of regulatory requirements and a keen interest in information technology and IT security issues.
• You have good communication skills, enabling you to communicate information security issues to all areas of the bank and ensure that they are integrated into information security-related processes (e.g., new product processes, emergency management, etc.).
• You are interested in exchanging ideas with relevant colleagues from the Julius Baer Group who support the internationally operating unit in matters of risk management and information security.
• You are curious and solution-oriented, reliable, and have a precise and detailed approach to your work. You are characterized by a committed, winning, loyal, and honest personality.
• Strong communication skills in written and spoken English and German, as well as excellent MS Office skills and proficiency in working with databases.
