Operations Associate 2

We are seeking a candidate for the position of Operations Associate 2 in the Alternative Investment Services division in Quincy, who will provide daily workflow support and deliver reports for private equity clients. The employee will be part of the Alternative Investment Solutions team at State Street.

Job description

Tasks

  • Manage daily processes for all applicable customers
  • Review older, missing trades and expedite resolution
  • Interact with customer counterparties in the event of material problems
  • Interact with customers to evaluate services
  • Implement system requirements for new products and processes
  • Evaluate and implement improvements in processes
  • Review end-of-day management reports
Responsible for identifying unusual or potentially suspicious transaction activity during normal business operations and must report and/or escalate such activity in accordance with company policies and guidelines detailed in relevant operating procedures.

Requirements

  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively to meet customer requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 0-3 years of experience in custody
  • Working knowledge of financial products
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with Custody Cash
The ideal candidate will be a well-organized, detail-oriented, analytical person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure to meet customer requirements.
