Operations - Associate Director

Tasks

• Responsible for the processing of structured bonds and derivatives.
• Collaborate with the sales team and dealers to resolve issues related to the booking of derivatives.
• Handling life cycle events.
• Collaboration with headquarters on setting up collateral and maintaining market price updates.
• Maintenance of proper transaction records.
• Performing daily reconciliation of dealer sheets against system records and broker trade confirmations.
• Management of market data.
• Review and investigation of discrepancies in cash and securities reconciliation reports.
• Collaboration with dealers, brokers, and custodians to resolve settlement issues or discrepancies.
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal guidelines.
• Handling ad hoc projects as needed.
• Performing the end-of-day check.
• Handling inquiries from internal and external parties.

Requirements

• Academic degree (bachelor's or higher).
• A strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment where communication and teamwork are essential.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.
• 5+ years of professional experience in the banking or financial sector, preferably in securities settlement.
