Job Description

The position of Authorized Officer involves the following responsibilities:
  • Responsibility for processing structured bonds and derivatives.
  • Reconcile traders' daily trade sheets with system records and broker trade confirmations.
  • Processing of trade settlements and management of market data.
  • Collaboration with headquarters for the creation of SecMaster and maintenance of market price updates.
  • Communication with dealers, brokers, and custodians to resolve settlement issues or discrepancies.
  • Maintaining proper transaction records.
  • Communicating with the sales team regarding issues with booking derivatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal guidelines relating to processing.
  • Handling of ad hoc projects as required.

Requirements

The following requirements apply to this position:
  • Academic degree (bachelor's or higher)
  • At least 3 years of professional experience at a bank or financial institution, preferably in securities settlement
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Good knowledge of English, Chinese, and Putonghua (both written and spoken)

Preferred skills

The following skills are advantageous:
  • Knowledge of SWIFT, Clearstream, and CCASS
