Tasks

The position is responsible for carrying out the duties of the respective role to ensure that operations run smoothly, maintain high quality, comply with agreed-upon standards and objectives, and incorporate risk management considerations. Responsibilities include:

• Review of Baer Controls, assistance with data requests for audit and regulatory purposes, review and testing of business contingency management documentation, coordination, review of outsourcing agreements, review of policies, and facilitation of consultations
• Monitoring and reporting on contract note rules, operational incident management, management of safe-deposit stocks, tax reporting, FATCA/CRS/QI/OL Facility client tax reporting, issuance of bank references, and support for HK-based securities lending

Professional and technical

The position requires:

• A college degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience in banking
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and comprehensive knowledge of the private banking value chain
• Prior experience with tax reporting, FATCA/CRS/QI, and risk/audit/controls is a plus
