Operations Manager - Private Markets
The Operations Manager at SYZ Capital supports the investment team with administrative and operational tasks, such as order execution, cash management, and NAV monitoring, and reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer. The position requires experience in fund accounting and the ability to quickly familiarize oneself with new topics, particularly in the area of alternative investments.
Tasks
The duties of the Operations Manager include:- Order Execution & Cash Management: Monitoring daily fund transactions in collaboration with the middle and back offices
- NAV Control: Support for day-to-day operations (data processing, fund valuation)
- Administration: Support with product launches, review of quarterly reports, and administrative support for the local investment team
- Regulatory: Managing the annual audit of funds and supporting the business development team with investor onboarding
Requirements
The following requirements apply to this position:- Work experience: Intermediate
- Professional Experience: Experience in fund accounting required
- Language skills: Excellent command of English (both written and spoken)
- IT skills: Experience with IT systems and data management tools; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
