Operations Manager - Private Markets

Job description

As part of its strategic ambitions, SYZ Capital is expanding its operations team under the supervision of the Chief Operating Officer. We are looking for someone with experience in fund management who is interested in working with liquid and illiquid alternative investments and who wants to contribute to the team’s success and growth.

Tasks

The duties of the Operations Manager include:

• Order Execution & Cash Management: Monitoring fund operations and liaising with the middle and back offices.
• NAV Control: Support for daily operations (processing incoming data, verifying fund asset values) and reviewing fund financial statements.
• Administration: Support with product launches, structuring, closing, and reconciliation, as well as reviewing the quarterly portfolio reporting package.
• Regulatory: Managing the annual audit of the funds and supporting the Business Development team with investor onboarding (KYC, AML) and liaising with administrators.

• Work experience: Intermediate
• Professional Experience: Experience in fund management required

  • Proven experience in producing high-quality reports and presentations.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach; structured and methodical in my work, with the ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.
• Language skills: Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• IT skills: Proficient with IT systems and data management tools; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
