Operations Manager - Private Markets

The Operations Manager - Private Markets is responsible for overseeing and managing operational and administrative tasks related to current investments and funds and assisting the investment teams with reporting and communication tasks. The job holder will report directly to the COO.

Job description

Tasks

  • Order Execution & Cash Management:
    • Monitoring of fund operations in cooperation with Middle and Back Office.
    • NAV control:
    • Support in daily operations (receipt of data, verification of fund valuation).
    • Review fund accounting/finances and support the Private Markets team with reporting obligations.
  • Administration:
    • Support with product launches: structuring, finalization, alignment.
    • Review of the quarterly portfolio reporting package (valuations, cash flows and GAS, prepared by administrators).
    • Administrative support of the local investment team, RFPs, DDQs, investor inquiries,
    • Maintenance of active relationships with third-party service providers such as administrators and banking relationships.
  • Regulatory oversight:
    • Management of the annual audit of funds.
    • Support the Business Development team in investor fund onboarding (KYC, AML) and communication with administrators.

Requirements

Professional experience

  • Required: Experience as an administrator.

  • Flexible and resilient under pressure, especially during periods of peak activity.
  • Strong project management skills and analytical mindset, with proven ability to identify and solve complex problems in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proven experience in producing high quality reports and presentations.
  • High level of integrity, independent and self-motivated, but also a collaborative team player.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a partnership approach; structured and methodical in work execution, with the ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.

Language skills

  • Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken.

IT skills

  • Comfortable working with IT systems and data management tools; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
