Operations Manager - Private Markets

The Operations Manager - Private Markets is responsible for the administration and operational support of investments and funds in the Alternative Investments area. The candidate will report to the Chief Operating Officer and should have experience in fund administration.

Operations Manager - Private Markets

Your tasks

  • Order Execution & Cash Management: Monitoring of fund operations in cooperation with Middle and Back Office.
  • NAV Control: Support in daily operations (incoming data processing, fund valuation review). Review of fund accounting/finances and support of the Private Markets team with reporting obligations.
  • Administration: Help with product launches: structuring, closing, balancing. Review quarterly portfolio reporting package (valuations, cash flows and GAS, prepared by administrators). Provide administrative support to local investment team, RFPs, DDQs, investor inquiries. Maintain active relationships with third party vendors such as administrators and bank relationships.
  • Regulatory: Managing the annual audit of funds. Supporting the Business Development team with investor fund onboarding (KYC, AML) and communication with administrators.

Your profile

Professional experience

  • Required: Experience in fund administration.
  • Desirable: Experience in a private equity firm or a Luxembourg fund administrator.

  • Flexible and resilient under pressure, especially during periods of peak activity.

  • Proven experience in producing high quality reports and presentations.
  • High level of integrity, independent and self-motivated, but also a collaborative team player.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a partnership approach; structured and methodical in work execution, with the ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.

Language skills

  • Excellent knowledge of English (written and oral).

IT skills

  • Comfortable working with IT systems and data management tools; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
