Operations Specialist for Derivatives Processing, Full-Time (f/m/d)

Tasks

The position of Operations Specialist for Derivatives Processing involves the following responsibilities:

• Post-trade processing for over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives, including interest rate swaps (IRS), total return swaps (TRS), inflation swaps (IFS), and credit default swaps (CDS), as well as equity and bond options
• End-to-end processing and monitoring of lifecycle events, including interest payments, corporate actions, option exercises, and assignment processing
• Daily position and cash reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of the books and operational integrity
• Trade confirmation matching (affirmation) with counterparties to ensure consistency between the front and back offices
• Monitoring and Processing of Price Feeds and Fixings for Interest Rate- and Inflation-Linked Products
• Monitoring Payment Schedules and Processing Payments
• Responding to operational and ad hoc inquiries from key stakeholders, including trading teams, relationship managers, and other operations teams
• Providing business support during the testing, rollout, and implementation of new products, system versions, and strategic projects

Requirements

The following requirements apply to this position:

• Strong expertise in OTC derivative products is required; knowledge of exchange-traded derivatives (ETD) is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Fluent in German and English (C1 level in both)
• Experience with derivatives tools is a plus
