Operations Specialist for Derivatives Processing (80–100%) (f/m/d)

Tasks

In Derivatives Processing, you will focus primarily on exchange-traded derivatives (ETDs). Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing of Derivatives Transactions and Lifecycle Events
• Reconciliation of transactions and positions with our clearing brokers or the exchange
• Maintenance of the post-trade clearing platform
• Job rotation within the team to ensure diversity and flexibility in day-to-day operations

Additional responsibilities include:

• Execution or settlement of transactions involving exchange-traded derivatives (options and futures)
• Processing and settlement of allocation and exercise events
• Management of corporate action events across various asset classes
• Coordination and booking of position transfers (inbound and outbound)
• Maintenance of settlement instructions and commission tables
• Daily position and cash reconciliation to ensure accurate trading, position, and financial reporting
• Handling of trade cancellations, corrections, and related adjustments
• End-of-day processing activities, including batch runs and system checks
• Responding to operational and ad hoc inquiries from key stakeholders, including trading desks, relationship managers, and other operations teams
• Providing business support during the testing, rollout, and implementation of new products, system versions, and strategic projects

Requirements

For this position, we require:
• Extensive expertise in exchange-traded derivative products; knowledge of over-the-counter derivatives is a plus
• Banking training or similar training in the financial sector
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Fluent in German and English (C1 level in both)
• Experience with derivatives tools is a plus
