Operations Specialist
The Operations Specialist is responsible for the smooth implementation of operational processes, compliance with quality standards and risk management. Daily tasks include pricing, tax reporting and payment transactions.
Job description
Tasks
- Perform daily tasks, such as pricing, tax reporting, payments (SWIFT and SEPA) and other operational activities, in compliance with established guidelines and policies
- Performing validation checks, applying the dual control principle to ensure accuracy and compliance with agreed standards
- Participating in the review and update of local policies, promoting a culture of risk awareness and compliance
- Identification and reporting of potential operational risks, anti-money laundering (AML), combating the financing of terrorism (CFT) and fraud risks, both internally and externally
- Carrying out recurring checks, reporting on incidents and providing timely feedback to stakeholders
- Work with colleagues to resolve ad hoc queries, offer support and suggest process improvements
- Contribute to projects to improve middle office processes and systems, including user testing and problem solving
Requirements
- Fluent in French and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Continuous learner who embraces change and seeks growth and development
- Strong risk awareness, with a focus on operational risk, AML/CFT and fraud prevention
