Operations Specialist

Tasks

• Participation in back-office operations within the Operations Control division for Singapore, specifically in reporting on client performance, as well as balance sheet verification and operational data reconciliation for large transactions, securities, trading products, foreign exchange, derivatives, and structured investment products.
• Reconciliation of performance figures from the Julius Baer asset management system with external third-party sources (e.g., S&P, Bloomberg, Refinitiv, etc.).
• Management of variance requests with the relevant external third-party data providers.
• Managing changes to business and data models to ensure ongoing business continuity and enhancement.
• Conducting business analyses, investment analyses, and data quality management.
• Management of payment and performance data flows between banks.
• Providing technical support to customers.
• Assistance in providing monthly performance information to meet various reporting requirements.

Additional Responsibilities in Risk Management

• Provide support in resolving inquiries and escalations arising from data or evaluation issues, on a strategic or ad hoc basis.
• Serve as the facilitator for the global risk inventory between Risk and Operations to facilitate updates and changes to information, including those required for regulatory and reputational risk reporting.
• Coordinate with internal audit teams to conduct reviews and audits and to develop risk management and controls in a manner appropriate to the risk.
• Provision of direct and indirect customer and industry data inputs within the capital adequacy and reporting framework.
