Operations Specialist - Post-Trade Processing & Settlement
The Julius Baer Group is seeking an Operations Specialist for Post-Trade Processing & Settlement in Zurich, who will be responsible for monitoring settlement activities, posting transactions, and communicating with internal and external partners. The position is advertised as a full-time role for a period of approximately five years, with the possibility of extension.
Tasks
As an Operations Specialist - Post-Trade Processing & Settlement, you will be responsible for the following tasks:- Monitoring of global settlement activities for stocks, ETFs, mutual funds, and structured products
- Recording of transactions related to investment funds and transfer agents
- Communication with counterparties and custodians worldwide
- Identification and management of risk positions in coordination with internal teams and relevant departments
- Reconciliation of cash and securities positions
- Ongoing development and optimization of internal processes
Requirements
For this position, we are looking for a person with:- Experience in processing and/or settlement operations
- Solid understanding of financial instruments
- Strong awareness of risks associated with clearing and settlement operations
- Familiarity with SWIFT messaging; experience with GTMatch / GTExchange is a plus
- Team-oriented with the ability to quickly grasp new concepts
- A high level of commitment, motivation, and responsibility
- Fluent in English; knowledge of German is a plus
